Madison McDougall, Esquire

Madison is a dedicated family law attorney committed to guiding clients through some of life’s most personal and challenging transitions. A graduate of the College of Charleston in 2019 with a double major in Political Science and Sociology and the Charleston School of Law, she has been practicing since 2022, providing thoughtful, strategic representation in matters involving divorce, custody, child support, and related family law issues.

She approaches each case with professionalism, discretion, and a clear focus on achieving practical, client-centered outcomes. Understanding that family law cases often involve both legal complexity and emotional weight, she prioritizes clear communication, thorough preparation, and steady advocacy at every stage of the process.

Outside of her practice, she enjoys cheering on The University of Michigan sports teams and spending quality time with her family.

Sydney Rose, Esquire

Sydney Rose earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. She went on to attend Charleston School of Law, graduating in 2025, and was admitted to practice law in South Carolina that same year.

While in law school, Sydney was selected to serve on the Trial Advocacy Board, where she competed in external and internal advocacy competitions and further developed her courtroom skills. Through this experience, she discovered a strong interest in litigation and courtroom practice. She also participated in numerous pro bono opportunities, including work with the Public Defender’s Office and Tri-County Speaks, gaining hands-on experience serving the community.

Sydney gained experience in law school with family law by working for Tasha Kotz. She returned to the firm after graduation, drawn back by the strong office culture, the meaningful challenges of family law, and the opportunity to support clients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Outside of her legal practice, Sydney enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring Charleston’s restaurant scene.
